Inspector Cullen has received a telegram stating that the house of I’atrrek Heath, at Waiharara, has been burned down. Tb i whole oi' the contents and buildings were destroyed before any attempt to save them could be made. It was with difficulty that the family escaped, and when the excitement had died down, it was found that two children were missing. ' All search about the place and enquiry failed to give any trace of the. children, and on a search among the ruins their charred remains were found.
