Tho borough valuation for 1903 is £53,746, or £2739 more than last year (annual valuo). Tho valuer’s original estimate was reduced by £653 7s. The Canterbury Frozen Moat Company (Belfast) havo purchased a sito at tho mouth of the Parcora, eight miles south of Timaru, aud erect freezing works there shortly.
