Canterbury 4 8-81, Dunedin, Southland, and Moat Export Company 4d, other North Island 3jd, liivor Plato mutton 3;jd. Good demand for all lamb. There is competition amongst holders to clear stocks at lower values. Canterbury d, t d, other brands 4-jd. Beef quiet. Now Zealand hinds 4|d, fores 3:jd ; good demand. Butter : Small supplies on hand. Now Zealand butter 102 s, Danish HLs. No alteration in cheese. Hemp firm, light stocks on hand ; good, fair Wellington on spot X'33 10s ; April and June shipments X 29. Cocksfoot dull, buyers not keen to do business ; New Zealand 171 b standard is 525.”
