ELECTRIC PHENOMENON.
By Telegraph —Press Association—Copyright .Sydney, April 27. The Cootaraundra phenomenon appears to have been in the shape of an enormously powerful electric discharge attracted by the telegraph wires, which it followed till it reached the telegraph office, where the current was broken. The office was considerably damaged. Thence it crossed other streets, smashing trees and damaging buildings. A rumbling noise was preceded by a loud explosion and accompanied by a reddish light, resembling fireballs.
