THREE MEN ARRESTED. By Tolograph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. Au elderly man named Lovo Guinness was attacked last night in a right-of-way near tho Wellington Hotel by throe men. The victim was garrotted and robbed of two pounds. Detectives Herbert and Ward witnessed tho occurrence, and arrested two men. Tho third escaped last night, but was captured this morning. Guinness was badly handled, but not seriously hurt.
