A FOOLISH WOMAN.
ABANDONS AX INFANT. Per Press Association. Auckland, Just night. At the Police Court .Mary Ann Wilcox was charged with abandoning the infant child of her daughter, which was found on the verandah of a resident of Oral tori road. She pleaded guilty. The evidence disclosed that the woman was very respectable, and acted on the impulse of the moment under sad circumstances. A conviction was recorded, and accused was discharged.
