The first meeting of the newly formed New Zealand Hockey Association was held tnis evening, the Canterbury. Poverty Bay, Nelson, Wellington, Wanganui, and Taranaki associations being represented The Poverty Bay Association was affiliated. It was decided that an annual match, North Island v. South Island, should be instituted, to be held not later than Juno BOth in each year.
