NELSON NEWS.

Per Press Association, Nelson, last night. There were very large congregations at St Mary’s Church this morning, when two solemn masses for the repose of the soul of the late Dean Mahoney were celebrated by Father Clancy, who expressed the thanks of the congregation to those wiio, though nut united in the faith, weie blended in common charity, and had shown sympathy with Catholics in the loss of their late beloved pastor.
