BOWLING.
MESSRS A. CLARK AND SONS’
TROPHIES. There was a large attendance at the bowling green yesterday afternoon, when tho final and the full riDk competition for the trophies presented by Messrs A. Clark and Sons was played. The competing teams were skipped by Messrs Dixon and Gnudiu, and somo very good play was witnessed. Gaudin’s team went away with a good lead, but on the fourteenth head Dixon's quartette had reduced tho score to within two of their opponents. The leaders scored two on the fifteenth head, and four on the sixteenth, and ultimately won by 23 to 17. In the double competition Robinson and Dixon defeated Euro and Quigley.
