Per Press Association. Wellington, last night. At the opening of tho bndgo at Bui s vesterday the Premier, referring to tho Kavv said he had agreed, subject to ratification, that New Zealand should increase £ subsidy from .£21,000 to TmOOO, which would give an up to-date fleet-. His collengues had agreed to it, and be hoped that Parliament would ratify‘he agreement. Continuing, he said if ho found that this country was prepared to go on and ignore that which would maim tain a free highway and so weaken ho Empire and would not recognise the difficulties that had to bo faced and which necessitated keeping Great Bntain safo a mistress of tho seas it must get another Prime Minister, for he was done with it.
