BOY DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. A boy eight years of ago, named Athol Thomson, fell off tho wharf at Lyttolton to day and was drowned. Tho body has been recovered.
A FINE DISPLAY
About 400 men from the warships iu port gavo a display iu Lancaster Park today, which was witnessed by 10,000 persons, Subsequently tho men were entertained at tea.
