Reuter states that tho Spanish Minister for War is asking for an increase of fifteen million pesetas in the war budget. There are numerous reports of murder in the vilayet of Monastir, whero a State siege is imminent. News has been received that the Uruguayan Government has come to terms with the Revolutionists, and peace has been assumed.

The Abyssinian column has been re' duced five thousand owing to lack of transport. It goes to Baai, Webbi Sbebscli, with a view of helping to block the Mullah’s retreat.
