Excitement has been caused at Yalgoo by the arrest of Richard John Carlyou, a well-known resident, and owner of the Quin mine, in connection with tho exploding of an iuforual machine in Y’algoo Post Office. Carlyou is charged with sending an explosive box through the Post Office to Solomon Lownes, with the intention of doing him bodily harm. Ho waß remanded under heavy bail.
