Dunedin, last night. At the N.Z.W.C.T.U. Convention the evangelistic report was read by Mrs Kirkland (Dunedin). Miss Roberts presented ber report as delegate to the National Council of Women, held in Napier. Re ports of departments were presented as follows : —Mothers’ meetings, Mrs Gaskin, Greymoutb ; scientific temperance instruc- ! tion, Miss Maunder, Hawera ; anti- I gambling, Mrs Lichfield, Blenheim. In connection with the latter, Miss Michin read a paper,' and an animated discussion ensued. ‘
