SEAMEN TRY TO DESERT,
'(Per Press Association)* Auckland, last night,
Tbo barque Gladys had trouble with her seamen on loaving port for London last night. Two men jumped over and swam for the shore. Tho steamer Osprey, which was towing tho barque, gavo chaso and captured both men, one of whom had very nearly landed.
