[(Per Press Association^) Auckland, last night. Arrived: H.M.S. Penguin, from East Coast. The Moura did not arrive from Gisborno until 3 p.m., being delayed by the thick, foggy woather. Passengers: Misses Bagnali, Small, Greatbatch, Shore, Firth, MesJames Mills, Wilstead, Fabian, Foster, Siebright, Dr Maitland, Messrs Walker, Bakewell, O’Driscoll, Dix, Haynes, Berry, Crummer, Smith, Bagnali, Mills, Husband, Allow, Bennett, Stewart, Captain Symons, and 10 steerage,

THE SCHOONER WAIAPU

The schooner Waiapu (Captain A. Mar-

tin) arrived from Boat Harbor at four o’clock yesterday afternoon, with a full cargo of wool. The schooner arrived at Boat Harbor at noon on Wednesday, and at once started loading, shipping 100 bales of wool by evening. Loading operations were resumed at four o’clock yesterday morning, and all the cargo was aboard at nine, the total number of bales being ISO. The schooner sailed at nine a.m. and made a ijuick run up to Gisborne, reaching hero at three o’clock. The wool was discharged over the wharf before six o'clock last evening, and the Waiapu sailed again for Tokoruaru at four this morning. Captain Martin is to be congratulated upon making a record shipping at Boat Harbor. He found the new oil launch of great service, and it was mainly owing to this means that he wao able to make such a good trip. The oil launch has made a I name for herself since her arrival in Gisborne, having been of great assistance in carrying the lines from the ship Gladys | to the dredge John Towley and the steamer Omanere. Qn that oJuSiio'n Captain Martin did a iot of work towards assisting to float the vessel.
