A DIVORCE CASE
DOCTOR CONNIVES AT ADULTERY
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Dr Bows, of Otahuhu, laid an application for divorce from his wife in the Supreme Court to-day. The evidence was that the parties had separated over a year ago. On January 22nd petitioner, accompanied by a man named Henderson, went to the house where respondent was boarding, waited outside, then forced open the French window, entered and found respondent on the sofa with Edgar William Jennings, the co-respondent. The application was not opposed, but Judge Conolly dismissed it on the ground that petitioner, by waiting outside the house for an hour in the hope that an act of adultery would be committed, was really conniving at her adultery.
