Tirnaru, last night. Tho third wool sale of tho season was held to-night; 8245 bales were catalogued. Fine wools showed a distinct drop compared with the second sale, Merino selling at 7d to Bid, half-bred 6d to 7]d. Coarser wools were approximately equal to lasf aale.

SUDDEN DEATH

Mary O'Driscoll, relict of a formerly well-known Tirnaru hotel-keeper, died suddenly this evening, aged 70.
