SUPREME COURT,
By Tolegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night.
At tho Supreme Court William Colbourne was found guilty of stealing a bicycle, and sentenced to twolvo months. Angus McNeil, charged with wounding Charles Anderson with intent on the Isabella Anderson at tho wharf, was found guilty, and received eighteen months. Mary Livingstone Hannah, for theft, received six months. NURSES’ FUND.
At the final meeting of subscribers of the Otago and Southland Nurses Fund, a credit balance of 41127 was shown. It was docided to vote £lO to each of the seven nurses, and give the balance to the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Fund. It was decided to send a letter of thanks to Major Pilcher for services rendered to New Zealanders, and to send him a silver medal as a souvenir.
