BANEFUL RESULT OF ATTACKS.

Mr Reeves, the Agent-General, states that tho public have taken about 8 per cont. The attack on Australian finances and the impending Transvaal loan prejudiced tho price. TlieDaily News says that tho underwriters aro saddled with ninety five per cent of th New Zealand loan. The Standard also doolares that they pay the greater part of it.
