ADEN HINTERLAND.

The Porte has reiterated instructions to the authorities of the Aden Hinterland to comply with British wishes to enable a delimitation of territory to be proceeded with.
A P.euter telegram from Constantinople! dated Jan. 8. says:—The report current that the British authorities at Aden had placed landmarks on territory belonging to the Turkish possessions in Yemen, and that the Porte had protested to the British Government, has no foundation. The commission appointed for the demarcation of the Aden-Yemen boundary has not yet been able to begin its labors on account of the Ottoman authorities, who notwithstanding the engagements which they entered into here, have not entirely evacuated the
territories which Great Britain maintains form pari or her L&cz possessions. The Ottoman troops were; withdrawn on the demand of the British Embassy, but the Turks left behind certain sheikhs and others to whom they assert that the terrn tories iu dispute belong.
