Hofmcyer and Schreinor lunched and conferred with Mr Chamberlain yesterday. Tho rosult of their deliberation has not been divulged, but recently Hofmcyer insisted on universal compensation, a genoral amnesty, and Lord Miluor’s retirement. The Bond organ at Capetown complains of Mr Chamberlain’s misrepresentations that the Dutch journalists and ministers, commending conspiracies, woro spreading a propaganda of racial antagonism, and had douo infinite harm.
