A mullock pass at South Mine, Broken Hill, suddenly burst away, killing John Rowe, and seriously injuring William Rowe, Hocking, and McGowan. Four others had a narrow escape. The Seamen’s Union accepted an allround reduction on coasting steamers of ten shillings a month, making the rate the same as on inter-State boats. Melbourne, Feb. 19. The Commonwealth Parliament haß been further prorogued until March 31st.
