ANOTHER PETITION WITHDRAWN [By Telegraph—Press Association.J Dunedin, last night. The adjourned hearing of the petition for an inquiry into the local option poll in Waikouaiti electorate was callod boforo Major Kcddcl), S.M., to-day, at Palmorston. Mr Bailey, who appeared for petitioners, intimated that it was not proposed to call evidence. Tho petition was accordingly dismissed.
