CARPENTERS' WAGES.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. It has been decided by the Minister for Public Works that carpenters employed in Government workshops shall be paid the minimum of Is 4d an hour, fixed by the Arbitration Court, while workmen of special ability shall receive Is 6d an hour.
