MISSION STEAMER.

London, Feb. 12. The widow of the late Bishop Selwyn christened the new Melanesian steamer Southern Cross. Tho vessel was lauched at Walker’s, on the Tyne. The Bishop of Wellington and Admiral Gibson were present at the ceremony, and delivered addresses.
