SERIOUS ACCIDENT

Per Press Association

Napier, last night. A rather serious accident occurred here last evening, when a little boy, son of the Rev. J. A. Asher, Presbyterian minister, when playing with some companions, fell over an embankment about 30 feet deep, striking the ground with his head and sustaining a serious fracture of the skull, necessitating a surgical operation to remove some portions of the skull which were pressing on the brain. At present the little fellow is doing as well as could be expected.
