HEALTH MATTERS IN AUCKLAND (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. The threat made by the Hospital Board a week ago with regard to the treatment of infectious cases has now been put into effect, and to-morrow there will be no public provision for the treatment of infectious diseases in any hospital. The financial position of the Board has been placed before the Government, but no assistance has been given, and the infectious diseases hospital has been closed for want of funds.
