MR CHAMBERLAIN’S REPLY.

The Premier lias received a cable messa, o fronr Sir 10. Barton, in which the latter quotes a cable he has just received from Mr Chamberlain, in which Hie latter says : “ Public opinion in South Alrica is decidedly against Chinese labor in the Rand mines, and no authorised proposal has been made to get it.
