Heavy showers fell in the later part of the afternoon ; J6D254 was put through the tote. The following were the results : Flying Handicap. Shackle 1, The Guesser 2, Sensation 3. Time 1.18 3-5, divs. JE2 6s and £4 4s. Handicap Hurdles. —Otari, Mourner 2, Aborgeldie 3. Time 8.28 15, divs. £1 18s and 14s. Trial Hack Handicap.—lndiana 1, Waimoo 2, Apprentice 8. Pahiatua Cup.—Mussel 1, Cumulus 2, Rags 3. Also started: Plaidie, General Symons, Aide-de-Camp, Platypus, Volley, Jewol Gun, Illusion, Oudenarde, The Rioter, aod Stepdaughter. Won by a head, after a splendid finish by the placed horses. Time 2.11 1-5, divs. £6 6s and £4.
Telegraph Stakes. —Aldinga 1, Spun Gold 2, Valkyrie 3. Time 1.1 3-5, divs. £2 10s and j£l 17s.
Members Race. —Sea King 1, Athol Brose 2, Council 3. Won easily. Time 1.36 25, divs. £6 Gs and 13s. Railway Handicap. Field Battery 1, Torovvai 2, Hetaiaha 3. Time 1.19, divs. £4 6s and LI 83.
