Pahiatua Cup.—Mussel 1, Cumulus 2, Rags 3. Also started: Plaidie, General Symons, Aide-de-Camp, Platypus, Volley, Jewol Gun, Illusion, Oudenarde, The Rioter, aod Stepdaughter. Won by a head, after a splendid finish by the placed horses. Time 2.11 1-5, divs. £6 6s and £4.
Telegraph Stakes. —Aldinga 1, Spun Gold 2, Valkyrie 3. Time 1.1 3-5, divs. £2 10s and j£l 17s.
