STOCK SALES.
MESSES WILLIAMS & KETTLE’S MATAVVHEEO SALE. Special attention is directed to the sale of stock to be held at Matawhero to-mor-row by Messrs Williams and Kettle and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, entries for which are much larger than usual. Messrs Williams and Kettle have an exceptionally fine lot of entries, including over five thousand sheep of all classes of the best quality, and about four hundred head of cattle. The sale, which commences at 11.30 a.m., will be conducted by Mr A. F. Kennedy. A CLEARING. SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, instructed by the executors in the estate of the late Mr William King, will hold a clearing sale at the Matawberc vards on Tuesday next, when they will offer the whole of his live stock, consisting of 1-100 sheep, including two, four, and six-tooth ewes. Over 120 head of cattle, and one hundred horses, all good sorts w.:l be sold, as well as the well-known Clydesdale stallion Young Herd Laddie. Mr J. W. Bright will conduct the sale, which‘commences at 11.30. On the following day, at the homestead of the late Mr William King, Makauri, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company will also offer machinery and implements of e\ery description. The sale of imple-mu.-ts commences at 11 a.m., and luncheon will he provided. This sale offers settlers an excellent opportunity to purchase at a reasonable figure some first-class machinery.
