[BY TEBEOBAPII. —PREH3 ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, last night. In senior cricket on Saturday, in the match Midland v. Sydenham, the former made 421 for six wicKets, and declared the innings closed. Pcarcc scored 108, not out. °S.ydcnham made 64 (Reese 28). In the match, United v. Lancaster Park, the latter made 166, and thus lost by 7 runs. United scored 300 for four wickets (K. Ollivier 112, F. S. Frankish, not out, 47, A. Sims, not out, 42.)
The rain on Saturday afternoon caused tho postponement of tho United—West End match, which will be played at tho end of the present round. On Thursday next, Whataupoko plays West End, and on Saturday County conics in and engages United on Victoria Domain.
