WOOL SALES

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. For the third wool sale of the season there was a record entry of 19,330 bales and a large attendance of Home and colonial buyers. The bulk of the wool was in excellent condition, being unusually free of earth, but fairly heavy in grease. There was a brisk competition for all good wools, and merinos and crossbreds were firmer, but fine half-breds appeared to be somewhat easier as compared with tho previous sale.
