Welter Hack Handicap.—French Maid 1, Waimoe 2, Baldie 3. Vathek, Craftsman, Purimu, Taura, Athol Brose, Rhyl, and Valiancc also ran. Won by a nose.

Tirno 1.35 J, divs. £2B 12s and £1 2s. Waipawa County Handicap. Mongonui 1, Ballyneety 2, A.B.N. 3. Oracle, Lady's Link, Jewel Gun, and Liquefy also ran. Won by a length.
