AUSTRALIAN WINES.
BEATING THE FRENCH.

London, Jan. 14. Mr Burgoyne, of the Burgoyno Co., Australian wine importers, in a letter to the Daily Telegraph, states that the imports to tho United Kingdom of French wines decreased last year by 25,717 gallons, aud tho importation of Australian wines increased by 206,090 gallons.
