WHITEHOUSE’S BIOCHRONOSCOPE.
At the Theatre Royal to-night Whitehouse’s Bioehronoscope Company will commence the first of a season of two nights. Mr Whitehouse is well known throughout the colony, and the papers all have a good word te say for the entertainments with which his name is connected. The Auckland Star states :— ll At the Foresters’ Hall, Mr A. H. Whitehouse gave an entertainment in which he introduced a new picture machine called tho Bioehronoscope. This machine was selected at the Paris Exhibition by Mr Whitehouse, and the pictures shown were very successful. An almost complete I absence of vibration characterised the machine, and most of the pictures were clear and lifelike. . . The entertainment included a number of selections on the theatrophone, which were greatly appreciated.” The Taranaki Herald states:—"Not only does Mr White house show the biggest and best collection of li\ing pictures we have yet! seen, but- he shows them with certainly the best animated picture machine which has yet toured the colony.” Reasonable prices are charged, and there should be a full attendance at the Theatre Royal toRight.
