NEW ZEALAND HORSES.
IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT ORDER
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. The Imperial Government is so satisfied with the manner in which the New Zealand horses stood the severe tests in South Africa that, it has determined to purchase some for use in the Transvaal and Orange Colony. Officers will shortly arrive in the colony in connection with the inspection and purchase of remounts It is stated that in point of price the New Zealand horses compare more than favorabable with the English.
