By Telegraph—Press Association. Marton, last night. There was boisterous weather, with light showers of rain, for the Ravigitikei races. There was a large attendance. The iotalisator receipts were 416525, an increase of £2017 on the Inst Summer meeting’s first day. The results wero : Flying.—Perfection 1, Romanoff 2, Cave 3. Won by a length. Time 1.21 1-5, div. £4 2s. Maiden.—Handsome Rose 1, Contingent 2, Wairere 3. Also started : Katoa, Pistola, Watobi, Heartless, Tirole, Wind, Rouble. Won fairly easy, Time 1.34 1-5, divs. £7 12s and £1 18s. ' Hurdles.—Light 1, Askleaf 2, Kohounui 3. Also started : Roer. Won easily. Time 8.24, div. £3 15s. Hack Hurdles.—Otaivi 1, Beau Ideal 2, Merryboy 3. Also started : Romany Lad, Time 3.1, div. £2 Is. Hack Flying.—Shrapnel .1, Mussel 2, Excise 3. Also started : Rebellious and Dalkey. Timo 1.19 1-5, divs. £1 15s and £1 2s. EANGITIIiEI CUP. Motor 1 Convoy 2 Bowman... ... ... 8 All started. A splendid race. Won by balf-a-leugth. Timo 2.41, divs. £2 10s and 15s, Parowanui Hack.—Dick Turpin 1, Hard work 2, Lifebelt 3. Also started i Gauger and Blackwing. W’ou oaßily by three longtha. Time 1.48, divs. £2 15s and 16s.
