(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. Tho D.J.C. Summer meeting was commenced at Wingatui to day. The afternoon turned out fine. The sum of £3584 was put through tho machine. The results wero: First Hurdles.—Evening Wonder 1, Southerly Buster 2, Snider 3. Also started : Long Tom, Skipper, Dartmoor. Won easily by over two lengths. Timo 3.31 1-5, div. £2 6s. Dunedin Handicap. Gladsome 1, Sychem 2, Crown Imperial 3. Also started : Roscommon, Leonore, Molly Dear. Won by a length and a-quarter. Timo 51 1 5 see, div. £3 12s. Hack Handicap.—Forward Guard 1, Cerise and Blue 2, Rockieigh 3. Also started : St. Monica, Tufto, Mariposa, Koputai. Won by half a hoad. Timo 1.36 1 5, divs. £2 18s and £l- - Handicap.—Lady Lillian 1, Canteen 2, Lady Rosslyn 3. The only starters.
