WARSHIP RE-FLOATED.
By Telegraph—Press Assoeiation—Copyright London, Dec. 24. The British war sloop Fantoine (which grounded at one of the mouths of the Orinoco, and which it was feared would not be released for some time), has been refloated. GENERAL MATOS REFUSED AN INTERVIEW.

Advices from Caracas state that General Matos sought an interview with riohgeder, the Commodore of the German fleet-, with the object of discussing Venezuelan affairs. Schgeder referred him to Captain Montgomerie’s British warship Charybdis, who declines to receive him. An American steamer named Caracas has been permitted to enter La Guayra to discharge mails and cargo by day. She is required to withdraw nightly. Reuter’s agency reports that President Castro is leaving Caracas at the head of a Government force to oppose six thousand reoels.
