MEMORIAL TO FALLEN TROOPERS.

Tho memorial to lailon troupers was unveiled this uftornoon. There was a huge and representative attendance of local volunteer companies, hands, veterans, returned troupers, school cadets, genoral public, and local hollies represented. Tho unveiling was performed by Mr McGowan, who in a short and appropriate speech eulogised the off'urts of New Zealand contingents and sympathised with tho relatives of those fallen, 110 complimented tho district upon the hearty response made, and also Hie quality of tho memorial. Tiio proceedings passed off must successfully.
