TROUBLE IN NEW GUINEA
NATIVES AMBUdU A PARTY
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Dec. 9. Advices from New Guinea state that the natives ire troublesome. Decently they ambushed a party of 82 officers and men. They killed one soldier and wounded several. Five natives were killed and numbers wounded in the affray. Two gunboats, with a strong force, have been sent to punish the natives.
