REDUCTION LOST AT TIMARU

Tho re-count of the local option poll for the Timaru oloctorato, which was commenced at 10 a.m. yesterday, was concluded at 3 p.m. to-day, and tho result rovoalod that reduction was lost by one voto, instead of being carried by seven as previously stated. Tho figures recounted are as follows : —Votors 4856, continuance 2175, reduction 2427, no-licenso 2637, informal 69.
