Sitting in bankruptcy, the Judge today suspended for twelve months Archibald Bhaw, c-ontractoe. and Michael McAllen, hotel-keeper, the former on
the ground of reprehensible conduct in assisting another person, who, like himself, was hard up, and McAllen for concealing from his creditors the fact that he was previously indebted, and for not- keeping proper hooks. AUCKLAND, last night. In the .Supreme Court (sentences were passed as follows : Arthur Hill, breaking and entering- two years ; Charles Arthur Ganderton, theft, one year ; Id. Richard Black, breaking and entering, two years ; Percy E. D. Whittle, attempted false pretences, three years.
