(By Telegraph—Press Association,) Dunedin, last night. Mr E. G. Allen has been nominated for Port Chalmers. Ashburton, last night. Mr John Studholme, jun., was nominated for the Ashburton seat to-day. Wellington, last night. The Hon. T. W. Hislop and Mr W. G. Tustin have been nominated for Newtown, and Mr F. Pirani for the Hutt. Mr Allan Orr has retired from the Wellington City contest. Nelson, last night. Mr .Jesse Piper was nominated to-day. Hamilton, last night. Messrs 11. J. Grecnslado and F. J. Lang have been nominated for Waikato. Hokitika, last night The Rev. F. W. Isitt has been nominated for Westland constituency in opposition to the Premier. Invercargill, last night. Sir Joseph Ward has been nominated for Awarua, and Mr J. A. Hauan for Invercargill.
THE KELSON SEAT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, last night. Mr J. Graham delivered his lirst public address to night, before a crowded audience. lie supported the Government and policy, and said that he would agree to a referendum on tho Bible in schools question. lie favored tho question of granting compensation to licensed houses closed by no license or reduction vote being submitted to the people by referendum. At the close he received a vote of thanks and confidence.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night, Mr A. L. D. Fraser addressed the electors of Napier at the Gaiety Theatre to night, lie defended the Government from' the criticism of its opponents, and quoted many figures to show the sound financial position ut the colony, and also its prosperity. Tire candldaie was given a vote of thunks, with confidence in tire Government.
