WATERLESS COUNTRY AND HOSTILE TRIBES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Nov. 12. Colonel Swayne has arrived at Port Said. In an interview, he stated that a stretch of 110 miles of waterless country lies between the British and Mullah, invested by hostile tribes and covered with dense bush.
