By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, Nov. 11. A domestic tragedy of a sad nature lias occurred at East Malvern. A city merchant named Arthur Mueller, in a fit of dnmentiu caused by tho worry over tlie ilihealth of his wife, shot his wife and ton-year-old son while they were sleeping. He then shot himself in the head, and is in a precarious condition. Prior to attempting suicide ho tried the door of tho room where another daughter and son wero sleeping. The girl, warned by the shooting, had locked two servants and her brother and herself in the room, and they wore afraid to open the door. They afterwards attracted tlie attention of passers-by and were rescued by means of a ladder.
