KING'S BIRTHDAY HOLIDAY Gisborne Post Office.—On Monday, the Idth iiist., this office will be closed Mails usually despatched on that day will be made up at 7.30 pm. on Saturday. the Nth. A delivery of iet : ters- only will he made over tiie counter from 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Telegraph Office. —This office will be open (private box lobby only)- from 9 a-m. to 1 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The Telephone Exchange will oe open as usual. All country offices in the Gisborne district will observe a close holiday in all branches, mails closing Saturiay, at 7.30 p.m. .
