DELIVERS ADDRESS FROM STATION PLATFORM. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, last night. During a short stay on the way through to Palmerston South, the Premier addressed a number of neopls off the station platform. He referred to his visit to the Old Country, and said the impression there was that New Zealand was one of the finest; countries in the world, and lie thou ;ht Canterbury was the pick of the colony. Referring to Mr McLachhin, tho .silling member, he said that the desire of the Oover|unc|it was to see him returned again. (
