GISBORNE CASE

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellifigton, last night. The caso of Panapa Waihopi and others v. tho Assets Company is jbeiug argued in tho Court of Appeal to-day. This is an action in which tho title to a block of land known as Waingaromia No. 2, consisting of 27,632 acres, in Gisborne district-, is in dispute. The facts of the case are very similar to those in the cases relative to Waingaromia Block No. 3, judgment in which was given last week, but argument is being taken upon tho question as to whether there are any distinguishing circumstances upon which it should be differently dealt with. Later.—The Appeal Court reserved judgment in tho Waingaromia No. 2 Block case.
